Surah Luqman is the 31st surah in the Qur’an, consisting of 34 verses and is classified as Makkiyyah. This surah is named after the story of Luqman al-Hakim, a wise man who was gifted with wisdom by Allah, who gave a deep testament to his children, especially about monotheism, filial piety to parents, noble morals, and the prohibition of being arrogant.
